I am a freelance journalist and author based in SW France and London specialising in children, travel, health and comment pieces.
I began my career as a news reporter for a London news agency reporting on events for national newspapers before leaving to work freelance shifts on tabloid newspapers. Following a brief spell as a TV producer I decided to concentrate again on writing, initially true life stories for women's weekly magazines.
I now write about children, travel, health and lifestyle. My clients include The Sun, The Times, Sunday Telegraph, The Guardian, Daily Express, Daily Mail, most of the women's weekly magazines, Cosmo Bride, easyJet Magazine, Jetaway, Wizz Air, Living France, and Connexions, plus trade magazines such as The Pharmacist and Nursing Standard.
I review hotels for Hotelegraph, Mr and Mrs Smith and Red Online as well as writing about family travel for Family Traveller, Take the Family, Planetski and many others.
I am a family travel expert - my book, Travelling with Children: A Parent's Guide was published in 2011.
My first novella Baby It's Cold Outside was published by Hot Key Unlocked in Dec 2013 and I am represented by Gaia Banks at Sheil Land.
I regularly appear in TV debates on This Morning and various radio stations.
